Dr. Kehaunani Noa was born and raised in Makawao. Growing up, she enjoyed going on trail rides with her grandfather and listening to his stories of the old paniolo. She left Maui in 1999 to attend Kamehameha Schools on Oahu and graduated in 2003. After high school, she went to New York and received a BS in Animal Science from Cornell University in 2006. Following graduation, she moved home to support her husband, who played football for the University of Hawaii. Dr. Noa graduated from Colorado State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2012. She enjoys working with both large and small animals. Her professional interests include small animal surgery, equine emergency/critical care, and livestock medicine. In her free time, Dr. Noa enjoys fishing, camping and horseback riding. She shares her home with husband Kahanu, a French bulldog named Ava, a quarter horse named Mano, and a cat named Lali.
