Dr. Michael King received his undergraduate degrees in Biology and Sociology from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. He attended veterinary school at Michigan State University, graduating with his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. He has an interest in public health and obtained his Master in Public Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in 2014. Dr. King has practiced in Michigan, Colorado, Hawaii, and Maryland. His interests in veterinary medicine include internal medicine, dentistry and soft tissue surgery. He also enjoys working with many exotic animal species, including parrots, rabbits, and guinea pigs. Dr. King is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the American Association of Public Health Veterinarians. Dr. King resides in Kihei with his Great Dane, Isabel. In his free time he enjoys hiking, yoga, SUP, weight lifting, and international travel.
